The New York Post reported that Sen. Ruben Gallego, D-Ariz., engaged in sexual relationships with at least two Democratic House staffers who did not work for him while he was a member of the House. According to House rules, members are not barred from having relationships with staffers who work outside their offices.
It might have happened while the lawmaker was unmarried. It is still inappropriate, though apparently okay with the House.
Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y., declined to weigh in on the latest scandal to hit a member of his party; instead, he just rails against Trump. He has no policies or successes to talk about. He’s obsessed with his hatred of Donald Trump and all things Republican. He’s also concerned about AOC running for the Senate and taking his seat.
Gallego was a traveling pal of womanizer and cheater Eric Swalwell, who slept with a Chinese spy.
