MP Rupert Lowe released a 219-page report of Pakistani grooming gangs raping and torturing as many as 250,000 girls. The figure doesn’t appear in any official records. He extrapolated rape statistics across the country as if they would be the same throughout. That isn’t mathematically sound. There are other issues with the report. However, it doesn’t change the fact that there are or were grooming gangs in some areas of England. They are mostly Pakistani perpetrators. It is also a fact that reports of rape have greatly increased, despite most probably going unreported.

The figure is from a 2019 remark by Lord Pearson using an atypical methodology that extrapolates the Rotherham/Telford worst-case figures nationwide. The 2025 govt Casey audit found national data too limited to scale accurately.

The report is a missed opportunity because there are serious problems with rapes. The statistics on rapes from legitimate sources have shown a marked increase since the Kingdom began its multicultural experiment.
