We are upgrading the site and would like to know what you think. It takes a little getting used to but it opens up all the recent articles to you on the landing page. The home page is unchanged with recent articles at the top.
I prefer this site with or without ads. What I can’t stand is a site that won’t allow links to other articles to be posted. It’s like they’re too damn paranoid about sending a reader to another site…sorta like the liberal students not allowing a conservative speaker on campus for fear of losing one of their parrots.
One of those sites gives a bullshit notice that reads something like; “Help us publish your comment by removing remote content.”
What they mean to say is “Links to other sources are prohibited.”
Yeah, I like the look. Much cleaner. Your prioritization is still very clear.
Ads are like wrinkles. You’re gonna get ’em.
I like your new look. If I can continue to read the facts here, I’ll put up with the pesky ads.
It is fine.
The main thing is to keep the site lightweight, so that it works OK on different browsers and OSs, reloads quickly, does not stream junk all over the screen.
Your site is very usable.
I use mostly Linux, never Windows (intrusive, unstable).
Do you have any choice in which ads are on your site? I am at the point where I don’t trust anyone’s ads — are they for real, or are they fishing for information? And why are there so many duplicates? (Don’t see this so much on your site, but others will have the same ad side by side or shown six times in one article.) Overall, though, I like the new look.
That’s fine about making money, but why do you have to ads at the BEGINNING and in the MIDDLE of articles? That is annoying, so much so that I may just have to quit coming here. There are plenty of others sites without annoying ads within their articles. If you must have them, make a column on the side for the ads or have them all at the end, but NOT WITHIN the articles.
It is supergroovycool and that is from locked down legacy browser.
I’ll look in the evil G browser after a while.
Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious!
Put the ads in the Right Margin Area. I just skip over them and move to the Comments. If they weren’t just in the way, I might look at them once in the while. Ads at the top and bottom really just get in the way and piss me off. I go to your sight for the information not self help and ads for products I would never use. Talk to people like Mike Lindell. I actually buy his products. Ads I hate the most are sexy woman click bate since I know they are trying to sell me junk. Your content is great. but get better quality advertisers; Quality over Quantity.
I like it
And those who are bothered by ads, please understand. The choice is, allow ads or LOSE this incredibly important site.
Over the past MANY years, I have always depended on the IS to cut to the chase every morning. It passes the fluff and focuses directly on the most important issues of the day.
This has not been without enormous struggle. When HONEST journalism does a great job, it automatically has a giant target on its back
We can Ill afford to lose them
Ads help pay for the site.
Just keep up all the good work, staying ahead of the curve on stories ignored by a corrupt media.
Yeahhh, NO! It looks like every other conservative news page now. Tons of aggravating advertising!
