At a town hall meeting on April 10, 2012, in Palm City, Fla., Tea Party-backed freshman Rep. Allen West was asked by a man in the audience: “What percentage of the American legislature do you think are card-carrying Marxists or neo-Castro Socialists?”
Former Florida Republican Congressman Allen West claimed that 78 to 81 members of the Democratic Party in the House were members of the Communist Party, specifically pointing to the Congressional Progressive Caucus. West faced significant backlash and was called McCarthy-esque.
The progressive caucus was arguably socialist and communist. They have gone further left thanks to people like Bernie Sanders.
In 2021, State Representative Tom Fabricio stated during a legislative debate that “Democratic Socialism is really no different from socialism itself” and called it dangerous for America.
The Republican-controlled Florida House of Representatives adopted House Resolution 145 to formally denounce democratic socialism, invoking national figures like Senator Bernie Sanders during the discussions.
From Progressive to Communist
We have already explained how these people are now communists, not socialists. Look at their platforms if you don’t believe me. The Nation claims that is not true, but, of course, it is. The Nation and other legacy media are covering for them. The media is filled with people who agree with the radicals.
Democrats are letting these raving lunatics run as Democrats, and they are winning office. Democrats are not putting up a fight.
There are dozens running for the state Senate and Assembly, and many other government positions. The woman running for Governor of Wisconsin, Francesca Hong, is mentally ill by her own admission and, in ads, pretends she is running a restaurant that went out of business years ago.
This is Francesca:

She is backing the BLM autonomous zone. Independent reporter Nick Sortor felt his life was in danger trying to cover the zone, and he didn’t even go into the zone.
