Abdul El Sayed campaigned heavily with Hasan Piker, had him at his victory party, and made a point of winning over Piker’s fans. Sayed’s entire campaign was guided by Piker. Now, he’s pretending he’s insignificant and people are wasting his time asking aobut him.
The Jewish Democrats are worried about this relationship, so a reporter asked El Sayed about it. El Sayed was extremely dishonest in his response.
“This is about affordability in Michigan,” El Sayed said smugly. “This is about being able to see a doctor in Michigan. This is about Donald Trump’s disastrous policies in Michigan. That’s what I’m focused on right now. I am not interested in a conversation about a social media person in California. And for folks who want to make this race about a social media person in California, let’s not forget what actually matters in our politics. What our politics really are.”
The Jewish Democrats should be worried, and they should be worried even more about his father-in-law, a top official with the Muslim Brotherhood.
