Elon Musk Will Resign When He Gets a Replacement

Elon Musk said he would resign as Twitter CEO as soon as he finds a replacement. I doubt he ever intended to stay and knew how that poll would go.

I will resign as CEO as soon as I find someone foolish enough to take the job! After that, I will just run the software & servers teams.
