Shannon Breame spoke with Speaker Johnson on Sunday and asked him about the Birthright Citizenship ruling. Speaker Johnson said everyone should read Justice Thomas’s dissent. It’s remarkable. He also said if there is a legislative fix, they will pass it right away. Previously, congressmen said it would only take 50 votes plus Vice President Vance to pass.

Speaker Johnson told Fox News’ Shannon Bream, “I used to litigate constitutional law cases, so I really enjoyed Justice Clarence Thomas’s dissent. Everybody should read that, must read, and he explained that the 14th Amendment’s original intent was to enhance and really value citizenship, and it’s been devalued because of birthright tourism, which is what we have now. It’s a threat to the rule of law and national security. We do need to address it.

“We’re looking at all angles. If there’s a legislative fix, we’ll advance that immediately. If it’s a constitutional amendment, as you know, it takes a little more time, but we’ve got to address this. It really is a serious, serious issue.”

If we don’t do something, people from enemy nations will give birth here, take the babies home to be indoctrinated in their radical ideologies so they can later come to the USA, use our. benefits, and change our society into theirs.

The very thorough dissent
