Update: The US and Iran will talk tomorrow in Doha.

Iran struck Bahrain with drones on Thursday while claiming the United States violated the ceasefire first.

Bahrain’s foreign ministry condemned the attack as a “blatant violation of the kingdom’s sovereignty and a flagrant threat to the security of citizens and residents.” The also hit Kuwait.

The Story

The attacks began on Thursday. IRGC fired four drones at a Singapore-flagged cargo ship in the Strait of Hormuz. U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) knocked down three. One got through, hit the ship, and caused significant damage.

On Friday, the US responded; U.S. forces struck missile and drone storage sites inside Iran. CENTCOM explained it was in direct response to Iran’s breach of the 14-point Memo of Understanding (MOU).

Iran said it hit the ship because the US didn’t stop Israel’s occupation of Lebanon. By the way, it looks like the recent agreement between Israel and Lebanon could result in Civil War. Lebanon recognized Israel as a state. The North is run by an elected official, while the South is run by Hezbollah.

The next morning, the UK’s maritime operation reported that a tanker was hit, leaving damage to the bridge, but the crew is safe. This was followed by U.S. retaliatory strikes.

Iran is attacking ships of U.S. allied countries and blaming D.C. for it.

Trump warned that Iran will “no longer exist” if this continues, as CENTCOM confirmed a new round of U.S. strikes against Iran over the weekend, targeting military infrastructure. This included surveillance sites, radar systems, and communications hubs. The U.S. is continually weakening their military capabilities.

According to CNN, there are no meetings scheduled with Iran this week. However, talks are on track, and both nations have agreed to stand down.
