The Blaze published a 90-second undercover video of St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church’s Lead Minister Jim Rigby. He’s especially notable because he is James Talarico’s minister. Talarico is the weird senatorial candidate in Texas who is running against Ken Paxton.
James Talarico has been running around campaigning, allegedly for political office, but mostly to deny all core tenets of the Christian faith.

The bizarre anti-Christian Christianity James Talarico adheres to comes from his minister and this church. Minister Jim Rigby doesn’t believe in the virgin birth. He said you don’t have to believe any of that, and added that they all got in by lying.
Rigby believes evangelicals aren’t that smart, and that is why they believe in the spiritual. According to him, Trump is a Nazi. Basically, Evangelicals are too.
He doesn’t really believe in Jesus’s divinity either.

Rigby, a so-called minister:
“My guess is that there are people who are just not that smart and like abstract thinking, which is where a lot of the liberal stuff and the principles of human rights and all that stuff comes up. It’s like they just, it doesn’t show up on their radar, and they panic when like when that stuff is laid out in front of them. …They know there’s something they’re not seeing. It’s like they have black-and-white vision, and somebody is showing them a color photograph or something like that. So I feel like what Hitler [Trump] did and what’s going to be his play off of this, and the church is a huge part of God. …
“A belief in Hell shuts everything down. Because when you think that you could be tortured for all eternity, and you believe in demons and angels and stuff like this, you can’t stay rational. You can’t. You can’t stay rational for it. If you think that supernatural beings are affecting things, then logic wouldn’t make any sense.”
“We all got in by lying.”
As the narrator recaps, “In about a 90-second clip, Texas Democrat Senate nominee James Tallerico’s pastor says all evangelical Christians are stupid. Says Donald Trump is literally Hitler. Insinuates the evangelical churches are made up of Nazis. Denies the existence of Hell. Casts doubt on the existence of the metaphysical and spiritual warfare. Denies the divinity of Jesus Christ, and ends on this humdinger: they all got into the church by lying.
Hopefully, Texas won’t vote this demon into office. I don’t want to listen to his nonsense for six years.
