A reporter asked JD Vance about his controversial friend Tucker.
“Tucker is a friend of mine.” “I’m not gonna play the game where I throw friends under the bus because I have political disagreements!”
“He’s said some things about POTUS that are just wrong.”
“Tucker said he would support El Sayed over Mike Rogers. El Sayed is a crazy person,” Vance said.
“I remember when I became the vice presidential nominee, one of the hardest things for me personally is not when people attacked me, but when people attacked my wife, including friends of hers who knew her heart, who knew what a good person she was.”
“And I remember thinking to myself, what a travesty it is that in the United States of America, we let political disagreements define who our friends are going to be and not going to be.”
Well, he’s loyal. It’s hard to understand how he can be his friend, but he makes it work, apparently. You either trust him, or you don’t. Do you agree that politics shouldn’t divide people?
