Lara Trump describes the reaction on the night President Trump left the White House in 2021. It wasn’t what they expected, but a lot of us would expect this exact reaction.
“He told all of us that he wanted to have dinner that night,” Lara said. “And none of us really knew how that would go. And the first thing he did, before he even sat down at the dinner table, is he looked around at all of us and he goes, ‘Well, kids, I’ve got to do it again.’”
“Any one of the things that he had against him, especially in the four years in between terms, would have been enough for one person to say, ‘You know what? That’s it. I’m out of this. I’m never going to do it again.’ But he never gave up. He continued to fight for what he wanted, but what he, I think, knew was right to do.”
He is amazing. They torched him, lied about him, damaged his character, sued him, tried to imprison him, then tried to kill him, and yet he continues. That is why he is the right person for this moment. I think the war in Iran, especially the timing, was a mistake, but he is still the only person for this time and place as communists and radical Islamists take over the Democrat Party.
