Mayor Khan Praises Nightclub Entertainment in St. Paul’s Cathedral

St Paul’s Cathedral has signed a four-year lucrative deal with the London nightclub Fabric to stage music events inside the building. The Mayor of London, Saddiq Khan, praises what I would call the desecration of the church. Khan served as Zohran Mamdani’s mentor when he ran for mayor of New York City.

There are three Londons under Khan. There are the financial and tourism sectors. The third sector is the unrecognizable one of Londonstan.

St. Paul’s has already hosted nightclub entertainment in the church. They hosted Patti Smith in 2025 and RY Z in 2024.

Canterbury Cathedral has held raves. People gently mock them, calling them raves in the naves.

Under the partnership, Fabric will be the cathedral’s exclusive partner for such events until 2030. The first concert is scheduled for 29 October, although the artist has not been announced.

Fabric co-founder Cameron Leslie called the deal “an extraordinary and unexpected coming together of two very different parts of London.”

Now Do a Mosque

The church director and Fabric founder say they are bringing people together. The Islamic mayor of London, Saddiq Khan, is praising it. Would he praise it if it were held in a mosque? I doubt it, since it’s a desecration, a belittling of a sacred place to me.

The cathedral is a landmark and an active Anglican church. Admiral Nelson is buried there.

That brings me to this Oxford Union address with Jonathan Sacerdoti.

Jonathan Sacerdoti tells the Oxford Student defenders of Islam that terrorists who slaughter in the name of Allah are in direct opposition to the traditions of “defiant liberty and fearless truth-telling” that characterize the West, and so is the religion that inspired them. He believes Islam is political and supremacist.
