Minneapolis police raided an apartment of Ilhan Omar’s son, Adnan, and his roommate, Abdulrahman Abdi, 22. Abdi was arrested on a weapons charge. Adnan Hirsi was not arrested.

Abdi was arrested and transported to the Hennepin County Sheriff’s Department, where he was booked into jail. Hirsi was not arrested.
Abdi is a known criminal. He was previously arrested 10 times and is a convicted felon. In 2024, he was arrested in St. Paul, MN, after police clocked his speed at 108 mph. As a felon, he is not allowed to possess firearms.
