Mitch McConnell was discharged from a rehabilitation center after a fall in mid-June and a subsequent case of pneumonia. The longtime senator, 84, said he will continue to recover at home.

Earlier today, I was discharged from the rehabilitation center to continue my recovery at home. Elaine and I are grateful for the many well wishes and support from friends, colleagues, and Kentuckians, and for the attentive care I’ve received from excellent doctors, nurses, therapists, and hospital staff.
“On the advice of my doctors, I’ll maintain an intensive regimen of physical therapy from home during the state work period, and I’ll continue to engage with my staff and colleagues on important Senate business.”
McConnell won’t be available to vote for or against Todd Blanche. However, Blanche has enough votes to be confirmed now that Cassidy said he will vote for him.
“This is not a referendum on President Trump,” Cassidy said from the Senate floor. “It is a decision regarding Mr. Blanche. … All considered, I will vote for Mr. Blanche.”
Back to McConnell, even John Thune said he hasn’t spoken with Mitch.
