The National Park Service has confirmed that the pool liner was cut by vandals. Instead of criticizing the vandals who did this, the story will fade away from the front pages of the fake news media.
There are some stragglers reporting fake news about the pool, getting their last licks in. The Washington Post still has its dead-duck and police-zone stories up. They even blamed the algae on climate change; they are that stupid.

The National Park Service says that a section of the liner at the bottom of the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool was cut with a sharp knife or razor earlier this month, damaging foam sealant installed as part of a $16 million rehabilitation project, a top National Park Service official says.
Frank Lands, the agency’s deputy director of operations, said the June 9 incident was reported to U.S. Park Police. He detailed the damage in a court filing late Wednesday in a lawsuit brought by a nonprofit group seeking to halt the Trump administration’s work on the project.
According to the police report, the damage included cuts to caulk over the foam sealant and destruction of delaminating surface material. Lands said about 70 fence post tops were also thrown into the pool.
It sounds like another Democrat media storm in a teacup, and it turns out radical Democrats likely did it. The media will never give President Trump credit for beautifying our Capitol as most civilized countries do. They won’t ever give him the benefit of the doubt. Yet, they never pay the consequences for their false reporting.
TMZ posted a current video of the pool, and it looks perfect.
President Trump mentioned the vandalism yesterday while meeting with NATO chief Mark Rutte.
“They went down with probably a box cutter or a very sharp razor of some kind or a knife, and they cut, and then they started ripping it up,” he said while meeting with NATO Secretary-General Mark Rutte in the Oval Office. “You know why? Because they’re sick people.”
He said it’s TDS, which it likely is.
Naturally, the Hill in reporting it, suggested that wasn’t the truth.
Jim Acosta, the Fool
The monument looks spectacular at the moment, but Jim Acosta chose to use a video of the Reflecting Pool with algae. Not only that, he dramatized it in a failed effort to be clever and humorous. He hit sour notes on both.
His video is so stupid, and the algae is gone. Even some Democrats said it’s gone.

Reporter Emily Miller said the contractor’s supervisor told her the blue bottom was found on the first day, but there wasn’t time to fix it. There was no shoddy work involved.
