New York Times Begins October with a Russia Hoax

The New York Times has an October surprise, probably not the last, with a probable no-never-mind exposé that looks a lot like a sort of Russia hoax. Two outside consultants who are close to President Trump allegedly worked for Republika Srpska, a pro-Russian government.

Since they are outside consultants, not working directly for the White House, it seems like there is no there there.

All the media does is attack President Trump.

James Blair was a former deputy chief of staff who leads a Trump outside political operation. Chris LaCivita was Trump’s 2024 co-campaign manager. They both traveled to the Balkans on behalf of a pro-Russian government. They provided election advice.

“Chris LaCivita and James Blair are outside consultants,” Trump wrote on Truth Social on Wednesday. “They do not work for me, other than as outside consultants. They most likely have numerous clients, but for that, you would have to ask them. They are allowed to do work for others, just like all consultants in Washington, D.C.”

“I do not have any idea who else they work for but will, on reflection, ask them and, if there’s a conflict, I will terminate them, immediately!” wrote Trump.

President Trump said he will fire them if their lobbying presents a conflict of interest.

Blair left the staff in May, and LaCivita is an outside advisor. The media is claiming they are President Trump’s employees.

This is basically the Russia hoax in a different form.
