If you remember, Barack Obama and his acolytes created an alleged crisis of fake news that was singularly aimed at silencing conservatives. Additionally, far-left Hillary Clinton was the first to take the CIA’s conspiracy theory tactic and apply it to everyone on the right who dared to say Bill was harassing or assaulting women. She made fake right-wing conspiracies, “bimbo eruptions,” and fake Russia collusion part of the vernacular.
Barack Obama made a formal visit to the UK last year and demonized the administration without mentioning names while there. This gives him a unique, indirect power to help shut down free speech.
At the same time, Europeans are opposing our government on a number of issues, but the most insidious is their effort to weaken our First Amendment by silencing free speech platforms operating globally. So much money is involved, and money almost always wins.
“Democracy is weakening because of social media influencers and conspiracy theorists who promote white supremacy & racism, and junk science. Tech platforms need oversight,” Mr. Obama told Londoners. This backs up the UK’s socialist government’s extreme censorship laws, which will come back to haunt the United States.
In another of the clips below, the former president says, “I’m convinced that right now, we, as a people, and people around the world, are consuming information, and that their decisions have an impact on every aspect of society. With that power comes accountability, and in democracies like ours, at least, the need for some democratic oversight.”
Democracy Starts with the First Amendment
Democracy requires free speech, not government “oversight” as the EU and UK define it. They are moving close to CCP territory.
Obama’s claims about autism in the clip were an attack on HHS Secretary Kennedy. However, there is nothing wrong with investigating autism and seeking a cure. Obama knew that in 2008.
Obama wants to restart the idea that fake news is a conservative mantra, and he wants tech platforms to silence conservatives. Yet, we hear many conspiracy theories from the left. That being said, people must have the right to judge for themselves. The government must never have the right to silence us or to bully companies into silencing us.
Barack Obama’s message is for technology leaders. He wants American companies to surrender to oppressive European speech laws.
This can easily silence the left as well whenever it suits them. We should all oppose this.
