Federal judge Theodore Chuang ruled against a new relocation plan pushed by the administration of President Donald Trump for the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) headquarters.
The 47-page ruling and two-page order by U.S. District Judge Theodore Chuang said the abrupt decision last year by the FBI and the General Services Administration to say they would move the headquarters into the Ronald Reagan Building in downtown Washington exceeded their authority and was “unlawful.”
The judge, an appointee of former President Barack Obama, sided with the state of Maryland and Prince George’s County in a Monday opinion. He found that the administration illegally scrapped the previous relocation plans in favor of a building closer to the current headquarters.
In his ruling, Chuang described the almost 15-year saga of developing and selecting a location for a new headquarters, recognizing the unsuitability of the J. Edgar Hoover Building in the nation’s capital.
Radical left Gov. Wes Moore (D), who lied about his bio, said Trump “tried to take from Maryland what Maryland had already won. He failed.”
“I am grateful to all of Team Maryland – especially Congressman Steny Hoyer – who have worked tirelessly for decades to make this a reality,” he said in a statement released by his office. “Now it is time to stop the games and get to work building the world-class FBI headquarters that our public servants deserve, where it belongs: in Prince George’s County, Maryland.”
District judges are running the country. It is a bigger, new building to reward them after attempting to make a mockery of everything that comes out of the White House.
Putting the building in Maryland will be at great expense after they openly harmed the American public. They invented the Russiagate hoax with the CIA.
Who can forget them kneeling like a bunch of cowards before the Soros-funded anarcho-communist Black Lives Matter.
