Former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s (D-Calif.) husband was charged with a misdemeanor hit-and-run on Friday. Several weeks ago he allegedly crashed into an unoccupied parked car and fled without leaving his information.
Paul Pelosi, 86, was charged with that crime and with making an unlawful turn.
Pelosi was allegedly driving his brown convertible in Yountville, Calif., on July 3 when he struck a car that was legally parked on the side of the road. He stopped briefly but then drove away. No injuries were reported.
He wasn’t drinking, but he is 86, and people of that age fear losing their license when they have accidents. Apparently, he loves to drive around in his convertible, but is he safe to drive?
