President Trump has warned the GOP about losing Texas and Michigan in November. At the same time, Paxton’s ads, mostly from PACs, are anti-Talarico. This hasn’t been enough to push him over the top – if the polls are accurate.
However, he just bought $20 million in ads after almost no ads showing for weeks. The election is two weeks away. Hopefully, he didn’t wait too long.
President Donald Trump warned Republicans that Texas and Michigan are among the states the party is “worried about” ahead of the 2026 midterm elections, while speaking to voters in Oklahoma on Thursday.
Fresh off an event in Texas, Trump told a crowd in the reliably Republican state that he was not concerned about Oklahoma but that Republicans needed to turn out voters in other states.
“I feel a little foolish, you know. I’m saying, ‘go out and vote, go out and vote.’ You’re gonna, they’re gonna win in the last half, but still go out and vote,” Trump said. “But we’re not worried about them. We’re worried about Michigan. We’re worried about Texas. We’re worried about a few states.”
The GOP had been starving Paxton’s campaign but appears to have loosened the purse strings.

Once you understand that they’d rather have Democrat Talafreako win than have a conservative in the US Senate, it all makes sense.

His lovely daughter softens his image.
His daughter is giving him a more personal image in a new ad to counter the vicious personal attacks. She’s very sweet and makes a great impression, and gives Texans a picture of his redeeming qualities. He has some bad ones, but he is a true-blue conservative.

This Father’s Day, I’m reminded exactly why.

While Attorney General Paxton won his seat twice, he didn’t have to go up against tens of millions of dollars in vile ads, and opposition from vengeful people like Cornyn and Rove.
John Cornyn would rather see a Democrat radical win. He is joined by his buddy, Karl Rove. They don’t care about the country. They are sellouts.
Truly infuriating.
Lame-duck Senator John Cornyn told CNN that he has NO plans to help Texas Senate candidate Ken Paxton in his race against radical Democrat James Talarico.
When CNN asked if he was planning on helping Paxton in any way, Cornyn said, “that’s correct.”

As for Michigan, it’s a dead heat. The key is to getting the vote out the way El Sayed’s crazy far-left base comes out.
This election fraud narrative is crazy! Mike Rogers (R) is within MAJOR striking distance of Abdul El-Sayed (D) in Michigan’s Senate race—separated by just 1 point!
If Michigan flips red, the Democrats LOSE control of the Senate! Michigan, wake up and vote RED! 🚨🔥 pic.twitter.com/eAW0izkuKa— Ryan Fournier (@RyanAFournier) September 30, 2026
Both Democrats are dangerous, but El Sayed is probably the most dangerous.
