The Woke hanger-oners in the EU who didn’t help us with Iran might lose their biggest advantage: the United States. They are sinking into authoritarianism and, in some cases, allowing radical Islamists to take over their countries. They haven’t kept up with defense and have become a burden without offering anything in return.
It’s understandable that they didn’t want any involvement in the Iran war, but it is also understandable that we don’t want to pay out ridiculous sums to them for nothing in return. It is also true that they want us to fight the Ukraine war for them.
The reality is that if they needed us, we would be there anyway.
