Canada announced it is building an international coalition of like-minded countries while deliberately excluding the United States to reduce its economic and strategic reliance on Washington.
It’s an absurd move, but Mr. Carney is a globalist. He is allegedly angry about tariffs, but the deal was fair. He walked away because he isn’t serious. He is forming a coalition with Europe and apparently China. He thinks they can all take Trump and the USA on and win.
Who is going to defend Canada? China? What will happen to his companies? Half of them are talking about moving to the US.
Carney is especially concerned about U.S. auto tariffs. President Trump is concerned about China’s electric cars. The President is also concerned about Canada’s tariffs on US cars.
Prime Minister Mark Carney’s government is actively pursuing alternative partnerships, such as deepening ties with the European Union, applying to join a UK-led Northern European military coalition, and diversifying away from American tech and defense infrastructure like Starlink.
Allegedly, Canada is prioritizing sovereign independence, domestic unification, and collective security with alternative global allies. He wants globalism and claims the US is a threat to their sovereignty.
Canada even explored the US as a nuclear threat, knowing that’s ridiculous. It’s propaganda for the masses. It’s also a hit to turn US voters away from Republicans next month.
