After the Moreno ethics violation was filed against his former son-in-law, Max Miller, Miller filed one against himself.
“In light of all the renewed interest in my family affairs,” Miller said. “I am going to file my own paperwork for an ethics investigation into myself to clear my name from these horrific attacks on myself and my family. I have absolutely nothing to hide.
“We will be providing the committee with all necessary documents needed for a detailed examination. The accusations continue to change, but my facts stay the same. I am looking forward to my colleagues reading everything for themselves.”
Rep. Moreno’s daughter, Miller’s wife or former wife, complained that he threw hot water on her and broke their small daughter’s collarbone. Miller said he didn’t, and his daughter’s collarbone broke in preschool. He also said his wife has bipolar disorder and has serious issues.
The timing of this is terrible because the district could go Democrat. Moreno said he doesn’t care. It’s okay for him since he’s a multi-millionaire. He has his.
No one filed charges against him, so it seems like there is no strong evidence against him. People shouldn’t be ostracized over unproven complaints.
Two other women have come out and said he was abusive. Still no evidence.
Miller said he doesn’t want to drop out because he is innocent. He noted that President Trump was accused by a number of women and didn’t drop out. He feels the same way.
However, Gov. Moreno says his granddaughter lives in constant fear. If that is true, that’s terrible, but it’s all hearsay for now.
Meanwhile, he is innocent until proven guilty.
