After Senator Lindsey Graham spoke with President Trump on Saturday night, he told an unnamed source he wasn’t feeling well, Axios reported.
When the source pushed the lawmaker to get medical attention, he reportedly said he’d wait until Sunday after his “Meet the Press” appearance on Sunday.
“I can’t die now,” Graham joked. “I still need to do the Russia sanctions, get Iran sorted out and do Israeli-Saudi normalization,” said Graham, the report claims.
He passed away several hours later.
According to Graham’s office, a preliminary cause of death on Sunday evening was an “aortic dissection due to arteriosclerotic cardiovascular disease,” which was to blame for the sudden loss of the dedicated senator.
“The death certificate will be pending until all the toxicological and microscopic testing is finalized, Graham’s office said.
Sad.
