The WNBA Seattle Storm co-owner went up to two 15-year-old girls wearing XX/ XY shirts, insulted them, screamed, and brought one to tears.
The XX/XY shirts they were wearing stand for keeping biological boys and men out of girls’ and women’s sports.
The girls were at the game and wore the shirts to stand up for Sophie Cunningham, for her stance on the issue.
The WNBA has fined Seattle Storm co-owner Celeste Keaton and suspended her from the team’s next five home games following allegations that she called two teenage Sophie Cunningham supporters “f—ing insane” during Tuesday night’s game at Climate Pledge Arena.
Cunningham blasted Keaton’s alleged conduct as “truly embarrassing,” while stressing that biological girls, biological boys, transgender women and transgender men are all welcome at her table. “You can disagree and still be kind,” she wrote.
A franchise that promised an “inclusive environment” is now apologizing because one of its own owners allegedly directed profanity at teenage customers for expressing a view the owner apparently did not share.
What happens in a few years when it’s nothing but trans men who have beaten all the women out of the WNBA player spots?
Supposedly, the NBA (men) pumps a bunch of money into the WNBA (women) to keep them afloat.
Soooooooooo who is going to go to a WNBA game when they can go to a real NBA game?
