Senator Padilla tried to hold back his fake tears as he spoke to the press about his experience after his staged stunt today.
Padilla barged into a room where Sec. Kristi Noem was giving a televised presentation. He threw himself toward the Cabinet member while yelling. He didn’t have a name badge, and was dressed casually. No one knew who he was at first. By the time he said who he was, he was too rowdy to trust. The officers forced him outside as he resisted, forced him down in case he was dangerous because he resisted, and handcuffed him.
Sec. Noem gets death threats, and officers can’t take any chances. However, while fake crying, Padilla, an inconsequential senator, painted himself as a victim, but it was all an act.
He had to know that by barging in yelling, the officers would react just the way they did. It’s only common sense.
Sen. Padilla almost starts crying as he recounts being handcuffed.
Then he uses the experience as a springboard to lobby for illegals.

Padilla wasn’t driven to his knees because he’s “disrespectful,” as Cory says. It’s the procedure when an unhinged man charges into a room with one of the most important people in the country who has received death threats.
