Supreme Court Ends the “Independent Agency” Scam: 1st Step in Ending Deep State

The Supreme Court decisions today were mostly good.

Accepting postmarked mail-in ballots up to five days after the election would be a big improvement for California. Demanding geofence warrants is good constitutionally. Who wants the police pulling people’s phone records without cause? While people were disappointed, the independent agency case was a huge win.

The big win was the end of the so-called “independent agencies,” which were always a distortion of the law. Agencies were supposed to be under the president’s authority, and by calling them independent, they allowed the deep state to develop.

Humphrey’s, the Independent Agency Scam, Is Gone!

As for the Lisa Cook decision, the Court said the President can fire her, but he has to follow a procedure. He needs to establish a procedure for dismissals. But the fact is that he is the executive and can fire these people in the Feds.

The court actually confirmed that the President is in charge of these so-called independent agencies that try to operate outside the oversight of elected representatives. They didn’t grant him power as NBC puts it. They acknowledged his power.

The President got his powers back

The Court allowed him to remove a member of the Federal Trade Commission, Rebecca Kelly Slaughter. In the latter case, the court overturned a key 1935 Supreme Court ruling called Humphrey’s Executor v. United States, which upheld restrictions on the president’s power to fire FTC members. Humphrey’s gave bureaucrats in agencies the right to act independently of all elected officials. Under Humphrey’s, appointees were running the government instead of elected officials.

The path to getting rid of the Deep State is to first get rid of the 1935 law, Humphrey’s Executor. The law prevents the President from firing employees in his own executive agency. The case was heard by the Supreme Court today. It is now on life support.

For nearly 90 years, Humphrey’s Executor has stripped presidents of control over independent agencies and handed power to unelected, unaccountable bureaucrats.

It ends the unconstitutional rule, which robbed a president of his right to run his own agencies.

The court was divided differently in each case. In Cook, the vote was 5-4 with the court’s liberals joining the majority, while they dissented in Slaughter, which was 6-3 on ideological lines.

President Trump lost the $5 million E. Jean Carroll case. It was thrown out. That isn’t the important case. The important one is the crooked criminal case. involving the so-called molestation.

In Colorado, Democrats won’t be allowed to move ahead with their absurd redistricting.
