Another example of weak or non-existent law enforcement.
On September 11, 2026, a physical assault by a teen mob occurred at an off-campus house involving members of the York College of Pennsylvania women’s lacrosse team.
According to news reports and victim statements, the altercation began when several student-athletes asked a group of individuals who were not affiliated with the college to leave their property. A large fight broke out outside the home, prompting students to call 911 multiple times.
A cell phone video recorded by a student quickly circulated on social media, showing a blonde female student being dragged by her hair down the porch steps and beaten by unknown individuals.<
The York City Police Department has jurisdiction over the off-campus area and is actively investigating the assault. To address safety concerns, local authorities have confirmed they will increase patrols on Jackson Street.
York College of Pennsylvania stated it is cooperating with law enforcement and has offered to help affected students living on Jackson Street relocate back to on-campus housing.
The student who was dragged down the porch steps and beaten is currently recovering from her injuries, according to statements from local news reports and families involved.
While specific medical diagnoses have not been publicly disclosed to protect her privacy, local reports from FOX43 News highlight the following details about the victims’ conditions:
- A young woman and her roommates were left battered and bruised from the physical assault.
- One of the female student-athletes involved in the brawl was already recovering from a prior sports-related injury when she was attacked
- In addition to the blunt physical violence, the victims were exposed to mace, which the attackers sprayed directly onto the porch and surrounding surfaces of the home.
Parents of the students have publicly shared that while the physical wounds are healing, their immediate and long-term concerns focus heavily on the mental trauma and safety fears the students are experiencing while living at the off-campus location.
If it is off campus, the problem is more the police’s responsibility. Americans are being forced to live with inadequate police enforcement. Lax policing leads to anarchy.
