The bill, H.R. 9535, is “To modernize the process for the admission of H–2A workers, and for other purposes.” The word “modernize” isn’t accurate. In reality, it is support for the farm lobby at the expense of our immigration system.
It’s the same old amnesty.
Republican Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, former U.S. Border Patrol commander Gregory Bovino, and multiple others criticized the bill, Politico reported Wednesday.
No amnesty!
Amnesty is NOT what people voted for in 2024! https://t.co/oFazqFeotz

Exactly! It’s the opposite of what the overwhelming number of voters wanted.
Every time they come up with another excuse to keep people here who came illegally, they weaken our system and encourage other people to come in illegally. Not only that, but criminals and other unsavory people will come in pretending to be farm workers.
