James Talarico is running for the Senate as a Christian. The only problem is he seems to reject some of Christianity’s core beliefs, and won’t even say Jesus is the Son of God.
James Talarico’s longtime spiritual mentor, Rev. Jim Rigby, says his church provides copies of the “Inclusive Bible” to new members. The “Inclusive Bible” strips the Bible of “gendered language.” It refuses to call Jesus the Son of God and describes traditional translations as “sexist” and “classist.”
Talarico probably thinks Jesus is some non-binary version of a non-binary God. He is handing out these inclusive Bibles.
If he runs as a Christian, shouldn’t he adhere to its core beliefs? He has said he doesn’t always like Christianity.

He gave a sermon saying God is not a Christian. He also said Jesus is not the only path to God.
