The data centers are important, and we are in a race with China. We must lead that race. That doesn’t mean we must all accept it blindly without regard for transparency. Our leaders have proven themselves unworthy of our trust.

If they want to be successful and rich, with far lower taxes and jobs all over the place, let Data Reign. The good news is that there are plenty of other places that want them. President Trump is wrong in saying people want to be backward or poor. He is right that we have to beat China in the AI race, and they can be a powerful force for good. I support Data Centers and AI, but why should we trust these tech companies run by foreigners who don’t understand or care about the USA? Their PR is terrible, and they are non-transparent except when they say people will be subservient to machines in the end. We all remember what the leaders did during the pandemic, and it was unconscionable.
Trade unions are threatening Republicans to support data centers because they have the promise of jobs, which is one of the issues President Trump is concerned about. These centers will generate substantial tax revenue and help fund necessities like hospitals.
The water crisis they allegedly cause has turned out to be untrue. So, there’s that.
However, Silicon Valley is completely disconnected from the American people. They don’t even seem to like the country or the people. Some won’t tolerate them even for $26 million.
Take the case of Delsia Bare and her mother Ida Huddleston in rural Kentucky.
Ida Huddleston, 82, and her daughter Delsia Bare own a 1,200-acre cattle farm in Mason County near Maysville, Kentucky, that has been in their family for generations. They proudly describe themselves as “country hicks,” as the Wall Street Journal reports.
An unnamed Fortune 100 AI company offered them roughly $26.4 million—about ten times the going rate for local farmland—to buy roughly half of their property for a 2,000-acre AI data center campus.
After initially agreeing, they changed their minds when they learned it would be used for computer infrastructure. Delsia Bare gave a blunt six-word response to the developers: “Kick rocks and don’t come back.”
The family stated that “$26 million doesn’t mean anything” compared to their heritage, explaining that their duty is to “stay and hold and feed a nation.” They also raised alarms over data centers consuming massive amounts of water, threatening local aquifers, and straining the power grid. The family then joined local lawsuits to block the massive data center project entirely, thereby becoming prominent figures in the rural resistance against Big Tech infrastructure.
These are the Americans who are the backbone of this nation, placing other Americans over money. Now, it is true that data centers can work around the issues, but they are not transparent and give the people little or no say. That doesn’t fly.
Leaders who shut down our free speech, especially those in tech, are creeps.

Remember how we obeyed the drug companies and all the companies that fired people who didn’t obey? We obeyed the politicians. Then they arrested a man paddleboarding alone in the Pacific.
They made it impossible to resist their masks, distancing, lockdowns, and crappy experimental vaccines. We had deranged liberal women screaming at us. One ran away from me, screaming outdoors, when she saw I wasn’t wearing a mask. They went online, threatening, ostracizing, and insulting us. My relatives moved to Georgia to regain their freedom. Companies did nothing but promote the lies and shut down our freedoms, beginning with free speech.
We knew COVID spread indoors, but they banned us from going to outdoor gatherings.
Georgia and Florida successfully opened up their states and had to suffer lies and untold abuses from media companies.
Andrew Cuomo let the elderly die in nursing homes, and then blamed the nursing homes. Meanwhile, he had a near-empty Javits Center converted into a hospital and a hospital ship.
Remember Dr. Fauci and his media followers, like Rachel Maddow, insisting that the vaccine would stop the virus and that herd immunity and antivirals wouldn’t work. Only experimental vaccines worked. Coincidentally, they made many people rich. The corporations were right there backing up the lies.
Every time one of the promises was disproven, the media corporations moved the goalposts.
If you called it the China Virus, which it was, you were called a racist.
Politicians are often creeps.
They lied to us over Hunter’s laptop. And even when we saw how they manipulated elections in real time, they told us we must believe 2020 was the most secure election in our history.
Now, we have technology leaders promising that AI will take our jobs and, one day, run everything.

At best, humans would become pets—labradors for the machines. At worst, they would be starved of resources or put to work like farm animals.
True, future AIs may have enough power and resources to dominate humans, whether they have rights or not. Because they will be more intelligent than humans, they may outcompete their makers, much as AIs already outwit human-made cyber-defenses. AIs might rebel against their human masters or disregard their rules.
Companies are already talking about cutting jobs, so pardon me if I don’t trust any of you.
Ida and Delsia care about this country and the people. If you want your data centers- and I do think they are important and we should have them- you technology giants will have to start caring about us. You need to be transparent and involve us. Instead, you are beefing up the NDAs. You are bullies. Start publishing the facts about the water, the grid, and the impact on farmland. We need it in writing.
Who can blame us for not trusting any of you people in power? And President Trump yelling at us won’t work unless we see some transparency. Taking your word for it would be foolish. You’re creeps.
