President Trump wins almost every case that goes to the Supreme Court, not because the Court is tainted, but because the cases are frivolous or illegal. The Court handed three to him today. Every time this happens, no matter how ridiculous the case, Democrats want to stack the Court. Now, with communist Islamist Zohran as the new unofficial party leader, the party will be more ideologically far-left than it ever was.
The Supreme Court will allow President Trump to end TPS for Syrians and Haitians.
It was the usual 6-3 decision. The fact that Syrians and Haitians have Temporary Protected Status means it should be temporary. Unfortunately, every TPS recipient will still be able to bring the case through judicial proceedings. If they have deportation orders, which they likely wouldn’t, they could be deported quickly.
These cases are annoying because the Court already ruled that TPS is “temporary.”
Vampire Gun laws are gone
They ruled against the Hawaii law requiring people to carry a gun on private property, such as groceries. The “Vampire Gun” laws are quashed. It was the usual 6-3 decision. The law would put an undue burden on gun rights.
These regulations are sometimes called “vampire laws,” so named from Bram Stoker’s 1897 novel, Dracula, where the Count “may not enter anywhere at the first, unless there be some one of the household who bid him to come.”
This was another 6-3 decision.
Asylum seekers can’t claim asylum while in another country.
The policy of turning back fake asylum seekers was rescinded by the Biden administration in 2021. When they arrive in the US, the question is whether we can turn them back.
President Trump allowed the Trump administration to block asylum seekers at the US-Mexico border. In its 6-to-3 ruling, the court said noncitizens must fully cross the border to gain the right to apply for asylum. The court’s conservative majority said migrants standing in Mexico do not “arrive” by “attempting, and failing, to set foot in this country.”
“This case presents a straightforward question: whether an alien who seeks to enter the United States from Mexico ‘arrives in the United States’ when he or she is still in Mexico,” Justice Samuel Alito wrote on behalf of the majority.
“In the decision below, the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit answered ‘yes.’ That is wrong.”
The Supreme Court already sided with the Trump administration over Green Card reentry. If aliens leave while criminal charges are pending, they can’t come back.
It was 6-3 again because the liberal and the two far-left Justices can’t do anything that isn’t ideological and goes against how they feel. Most of the constituttional Justices don’t even like Donald Trump. They make the decisions based on the Constitution.
