Uganda, Here We Come: Mamdani Says Better Raise Thermostats or Else

Mayor Zohran Kwame Mamdani wrote on X that “it’s hot out there, and the power grid is working overtime to keep us cool. Set your AC to 78 degrees, turn off lights/electronics you’re not using, and unplug what you can, he said. Our City is doing its part too: maintaining the 78-degree rule in our buildings, dimming/turning off our lights during peak electricity demand, asking private partners to do the same, and powering down non-essential equipment. A stable grid means the AC stays on, and lives are saved. Let’s ease demand — and get through the heat — together.”

As Spencer Pratt said, Communism always goes the same way.

The DSA doesn’t want us to have any air conditioning.

Zohran is making our very important city into Uganda. He knows nothing about New York, has no roots here, and his mother said he doesn’t consider himself American, but rather Ugandan and Indian. Fine, but he doesn’t belong in this country.

New York is sitting on a pile of gas, which is being siphoned off by New Jersey and Pennsylvania because the governor won’t frack.

His message was met with disdain.

I’m a big not-fan of his slimy smile.
