Let’s not forget the witch who ran the AFT, Randi Weingarten, when we consider the damage done to the children and their education. Many institutions of higher learning now have to offer remedial reading and math. No one group can do damage to schools like the national teachers’ unions.
Randi Weingarten, president of the American Federation of Teachers (AFT) at the time, kept children out of school during the COVID pandemic. Weingarten admitted that she knew remote learning wasn’t a substitute for in-school learning.
Since 2023, gaslighting Randi has said it wasn’t her fault and claims she wanted schools reopened. If her actions weren’t so damaging to children, I’d laugh.
Randi caters to Democrats who give a lot of money to her organization. Her organization then gives lots of money to their campaigns if they support her demands.
In the clip, she shows her empty comments from May 3, 2020, through September 24, 2021, claiming the schools needed to reopen. She left out all the roadblocks she erected during those times.
Remember how she was responsible for the authoritarian guidelines the CDC published?
The woman made it impossible to get rid of masks with “off-ramps” that didn’t exist. As a result, children weren’t developing empathy. From masking, to distancing, to acceptable community spread metrics, and extreme quarantines, to exorbitant money requests for left-wing programs, and demanding peer-reviewed studies that didn’t exist, she made it impossible. While she doesn’t make the rules, Biden agencies let her make the rules.

Weingarten misrepresented her positions at the time. She called attempts to reopen schools in the fall of 2020 “Reckless, callous, cruel.” Her union pushed the lockdown on the local level. Her union pushed aggressively at the local level. Areas with high union influence remained closed much longer than necessary. They continued in 2022.
She wanted to give her most vociferous teachers a year off.
Keep in mind that we knew from the beginning the only children endangered were the very sick children. It was an older person’s disease; then they came up with the idea that the children had to protect the adults, and we had to keep them from getting sick, which is truly questionable morally.
They admitted they did not test it on children, but it took quite a while for that admission to become known. How do you give a vaccine to a child when you don’t know what it’s going to do to them, and they don’t really need it? We now know that the vaccine can cause heart conditions, and parents should have known that at the time: the CDC, the FDA, the NIH, the NIAID, and vaccine companies. All they did was silence any differing opinions, refuse therapeutics to sell more vaccines, and, it seems, from Fauci’s diary, they did it to cover their derrieres.
She gets a huge taxpayer retirement for putting politics over children and double-dips for screaming publicly against all things Democrats don’t like.
