It looks like the establishment Democrat Party is over, and the radicals are now the party. With Seattle, LA, D.C., and New York City falling into the hands of DSA Bolsheviks who are anti-police, abolish ICE, prisons, and capitalism, carve up children, free Palestine, pay for sex workers and trans child surgeries, and overthrow Western civilization. Weirdness and failure to follow.
The Democratic Socialist [communist] candidates in New York City received their strongest support from young voters and college-educated middle to upper-income Americans. The ideology being spread in our schools now has consequences that show up in our ballot box.
A total of 531,000 New Yorkers voted in this year’s primary, according to data from the New York City Board of Elections. That’s a turnout rate of one in six registered Democrat[ic] voters, but roughly the same total number of voters as the June 2022 primary.
That’s out of 3 million Democrat voters.
John Mollenkopf, a political science professor at CUNY Graduate Center, said Mamdani and his DSA allies “have the most effective targeting, canvassing, get-out-the-vote effort that the city has seen in a long time,” Mollenkopf said.
He added that lower turnout in midterm elections generally doesn’t favor progressive candidates who rely on younger voters. “The DSA has managed to turn that around and activate a whole group of young, well-educated people who care about things like childcare,” the Communist U professor said.
Insiders also credited the Democratic Socialists of America’s formidable field operations for turning out voters who’d back Mamdani’s preferred candidates. It set the stage for a potential party takeover by the DSA, according to the New York Post.
Some Democrats say they want to clean house with progressives. It looks like Democrats move toward communism if they are unhappy with their leaders.
It’s a Non-Hostile Takeover
Zohran’s communist takeover was small, but very dangerous.
The media is calling it a hostile takeover, and of course, it isn’t. Hakeem Jeffries could refuse to seat them because of their anti-American views, but he won’t.
This is the Democrat Party with a vacuum being filled by Democrat Socialists who Karl Marx would probably label communists.
It wasn’t a large turnout, but it matters. These radical America-haters will reshape New York City. It looks like Zo is the new leader of the Democrat Party.
Marx argued that a true “socialist democracy” requires the revolutionary overthrow of the capitalist state. Democratic socialists would say they are not synonymous with communists and try to sound intellectually sound with their alleged philosophical differences. That’s nothing but semantic game playing with philosophy and a euphemistic label. Democratic socialism is communism. They are trying to overthrow America and will tell you so. Believe them.
