Zohran Mamdani, the communist Islamist mayor of New York City, has abandoned a plan to hire 580 new police officers. There were fewer than 4 police officers per 1,000 residents working mandatory 12-hour shifts in extreme 104-degree heat. This was during one of the busiest holiday weekends of the year. On top of that, Mamdani delayed their paychecks, left them with no backup, and treated the department like the enemy.
The paychecks were supposed to come in the second week of July, but won’t go out until the third, while the heat index is near 112°, and they’re expected to secure the city.
The city claims there was an internal processing error in the payroll system. Maybe that’s true. Maybe it’s not. It could also be because of the people he hires. What is definitely true is that Zohran treats the police like the enemy. He is a nasty, ill-informed, spoiled, rich kid who is clueless about America, law enforcement, and right and wrong.
He will protect the criminals, but not the victims, the criminals, but not the police. He harbors criminals, illegals, and others.
Zohran got lucky and there were no disasters in the City. He’s also lucky he has dedicated police officers.
Secretary Mullin Commented
Department of Homeland Security Secretary Markwayne Mullin harshly criticized Ugandan-Indian Mayor Zohran Mamdani for wanting to restrict law enforcement and shield criminals.
Not giving the NYPD the resources they need speaks volumes about a socialist’s mentality!
INTERVIEWER: Will you send more ICE to NYC?
MULLIN: “We have to flex more because we see more criminal activity…we’re going after the head of the snake!”
“They feel like NYC is a safe haven…they bring in a tremendous amount of organized crime.”
