At least eight people have been killed, and 38 others have been injured in weekend shootings across Chicago during the extended holiday weekend as of Sunday.
The ages of the victims range from 14 to 70, according to Chicago police.
Many of the victims were just innocently walking by or in their homes. Most of the shootings were tied to gangs or were victims of drive-by shootings.
