Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (AOC), acting as always, blamed Musk and the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) for slashing Medicaid and Social Security to fund his benefits. Musk responded on X, sharing evidence that DOGE lacks the authority to cut benefits—only Congress can—and highlighted its focus on reducing waste, such as $100 billion in annual improper payments, through SSA staff cuts and office closures.
Trump and Musk have pledged never to receive direct benefit reductions.
Of course, the idea that they would get benefits is completely made up. There is no evidence for that whatsoever. There never was evidence or even a hint of it.
Democrats claimed they were worried about the elderly not getting benefits. That too is a total fabrication. It’s just another political fearmongering tactic.
They are actors in a drama aimed at taking over the government.
AOC is just an actor.
