Sheridan Gorman was a college freshman who was murdered by an illegal alien who picked her out for no reason. Her mother, Mrs. Jessica Gorman, spoke before Congress today. Her presentation was powerful, heartbreaking, and painful to hear. Did Congress hear her?
Some in Congress tried to offer half-hearted sympathy, but Mrs. Gorman had none of it.
“You don’t feel my pain, because the next words out of your mouth were ‘BUT..”
“There’s no ‘but’ when your child is in a coffin.”
“Explain to me why illegal immigrants are more important than my daughter.”
How could they allow this to happen? She is only one of thousands who have died or been harmed by people who shouldn’t be here. We are faced with people in this country who only care about these miscreants and have no heart for the victims whose lives are ruined.
She asked why it’s too much to ask for cooperation with ICE. Mrs. Gorman “begged” Congress to care about her daughter over illegal immigrants.
