In a small August survey of 500 people, Alexander Ocasio-Cortez (AOC) scored +8 favorability, while Chuck Schumer scored -13. The survey showed that 52% of respondents viewed Schumer unfavorably, 39% viewed him favorably, and 10% were unsure. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez was viewed favorably by 47% and unfavorably by 39%, while 14% said they were unsure.
The Education Reform Now Advocacy is a Democrat-aligned advocacy organization and think tank that regularly commissions political and education-focused polls. It operates as the 501(c)(4) partner branch of Democrats for Education Reform (DFER). When it releases polling data, it collaborates with established public opinion firms such as Impact Research and Concord Public Opinion Partners. In other words, its goal is to test the waters or influence opinions.
Democrats are promoting AOC and dropping trial balloons in the media to see the public’s reaction were she to run for the Senate or the presidency.
That’s how far we’ve sunk in this country. Not only is AOC a communist, but most of the time she doesn’t make a lot of sense, and she doesn’t tell the truth. Her progressive allies, who are communists and socialists, see her as Bernie Sanders’ natural successor.
AOC has been discussing her future with Barack Obama’s adviser and kingmaker David Axelrod.
She has not ruled out a presidential bid and addressed speculation about her political future during a May conversation with former Barack Obama adviser David Axelrod. “My ambition is to change this country,” she said. “Presidents come and go. Senate, House seats, elected officials come and go. But single-payer healthcare is forever. A living wage is forever, workers’ rights are forever, women’s rights, all of that, and so anyways… to a finer point to your question is that when you aren’t attached, when you haven’t been, like, fantasizing about being this or that since the time you were 7 years old, it is tremendously liberating.”
I doubt she was thinking about these things when she was seven.
According to Politico, she’s a close ally of Islamist communist Zohran Mamdani. Both are members of the Democratic Socialists of America (DSA). The DSA is a communist organization. Zohran has described her as “the most viable left contender for president in 2028.” Traders on Polymarket gave her a 62% chance of pursuing the Democratic presidential nomination.
Some Democrats would like to see her run for the Senate, where she would most likely have an advantage over the unpopular Chuck Schumer, who they feel gave in too much to Republicans. Their big gripe is that he helped advance a Republican-backed government funding bill without concessions. It was just a short-term spending bill, but communists don’t want to give anything to the other side. They want to dictate everything.
As for AOC’s seven-year-old dream, to implement all the freebies she’s promised, she’d have to take all our money and give us leftovers as a universal income. All of it is communism.

Her views on citizenship.
The history of Citizenship in the US is deeply woven with the history of racism. It has been used as the legal enforcer of racism for most of US history.
Citizenship affords power, & that’s why citizenship of African Americans was long denied too – to both slaves & descendants.

But of course, just because a statute is abolished doesn’t mean the unfairness is gone. Remaining are life & death implications of other statutes & *how* laws are enforced.
That’s a key part of policy in a wide range of issues from schooling to marijuana + yes, immigration too.
