The Tenth Amendment to the United States Constitution, a part of the Bill of Rights, was ratified on December 15, 1791. It expresses the principle of federalism, also known as states’ rights, by stating that the federal government has only those powers delegated to it by the Constitution, and that all other powers not forbidden to the states by the Constitution are reserved to each state.
Hidden on p. 508 of the 2700 plus page fake infrastructure bill is a pilot program for a national motor vehicle program with a user fee. It is a long-term plan to make it too expensive for you to drive your car but the elite will have plenty of money to do it. They are socialists who will have your money.
This is insanity.

WAKE UP!
“Ideological politics won’t stop until it destroys the existing society, as the Chinese Cultural Revolution has demonstrated, because nothing intoxicates the human soul like absolute power.” Habi Zhang explains: https://t.co/wDiCJa6xV2

We already have this tax as the Federal Fuels Tax ( Gas Tax).
So, I pay taxes for driving my vehicle twice? I already pay highway usage taxes at the pump.
How about just putting the mileage taxes on electric vehicles that don’t pay their “fair share” at the pump?
Maybe install an electric meter on the vehicles.
I can remember years ago when we had the electric streetcars in many major cities. That was before the rubber industry pushed for replacing clean streetcars with noxious buses. Maybe we can go back to that.
This is nuts!! When are the American people going to rise up and raise hell and say enough?
My Wife is a Libertarian, but when it comes to science, she is a Liberal. Her favorite line is. “I’m not an Engineer.” That is the problem with Liberals in Government; they are clueless and totally driven by emotion. Someone tells them that Electric Cars are the future and they believe it. Liberals aren’t smart enough to realize that it will take 50 years to upgrade the Electrical Grid to support a nation with Electric Cars. I think that Lincoln’s Idea of preserving the Nation was all wrong. If the South broke away, in 20 years the Democrats would have run the Confederacy into the Ground and there would never had been Communist or Marxist. The Confederacy was going to be a colossal failure and Lincoln should have just stood by and watched it happen.
Today, I say the Red States should do the opposite. Just throw the Big Blue States out of the Union and watch them become 3rd World Hell Holes. California and New York are already well om their way. Liberals are emotional morons, and you can’t reason with a moron so why try?
There was a time in my youth when taking courses that included Physics, Math, among others. I was getting perfect scores time after time. Then, certain tests came up that had more than one correct answer but, not All the time. That dropped some grades down to B. Needless to say, it upset me I didn’t make the Top Honors, but it taught me a very important lesson. Since then, whenever I study on something, especially when it sounds probable, I immediately start focusing on what could go wrong, or what am I missing.
There’s a strong push to electrify all transportation. Of course it’s admitted there isn’t the infrastructure in place to accommodate such a change as yet. But what after we get to that point. What is the downside. The most basic is Power Generation. If everyone is forced into electric vehicles, what happens when the power goes out. We saw the most recent in Texas, but there was the entire Northeast blackout years ago because, as I recall, one single breaker that had a cascading effect. Few understand how the Grid works and the importance of load balancing, which is what caused the cascading effect. How will you charge up a slew of vehicles sitting on the road. For now you can get a can and fill it with gas and in moments – back on the road. If the country goes Wind and Solar, that will add significantly to the problem.
It’s not Only regular cars that Government is going after. They are in the process of shutting down much of Motorsports. The attempt is to prohibit anyone from building “Hot Rods”. Some small dealers are being hit Bit Time by the EPA for selling aftermarket performance parts. The regulations will include eliminating many classes in drag racing. If a vehicle was Ever on the street, or manufactured as a street vehicle it will be a violation to install parts to increase its horsepower, Even IF emissions meet current standards. The classes of Pro Stock on down will be eliminated, along with anyone who want to build a street machine to race on Sunday. Now, Keep Telling Me This Is A Great Country.
