Over 10,000 buildings have been destroyed in California so far. At least ten people were killed. One man was found dead with a hose in his hand.
The state insurance only has $700,000,000 in it. There is no money to cover at least 135 billion dollars worth of damage, and still growing.
The insurance companies will low ball and decline the claims. Some people were paying insurance that cost as much as their mortgage for poor coverage.
The regulations will kill these homes.

No Federal Aid (beyond the bare necessities) until Greasy Gavin resigns. Why should we have to pay for this fool’s failures.
Right now all the attention is being placed on rebuilding the destroyed homes in LA and rightfully so. Let’s not forget our friends and neighbors who have also lost everything because of the hurricanes. Some are freezing and still living in tents since last fall.
In the video they say they have $700,000,000 in cash to cover the losses. For the sake of argument we’ll say they are not going to pay you for the dirt you already own but they will rebuild each house on the small lots. Depending on how you finish the house and the sq ft per house each house is going to take between $500,000 to $1m to rebuild. They have currently have enough cash in the piggy bank to rebuild 700 to 1400 houses out of the 4000 to 5000 homes burned.
