Also, more than one-third of our readers use ad blockers, and ads are the only way we make money. We added an ad on top which covers the page until you X it out. We are trying to cover our losses. We were breaking even, but now we are losing money and it’s unsustainable.
I understand why people use ad blockers but they are destroying free news/commentary sites, and causing others to suffer more ads.

Never use an ad blocker on this site. I understand how difficult it has been to produce and manage these pages. M Dowling is a tireless, courageous patriot. The Sentinel is where I go to escape corrupt MSM propaganda, especially regarding stories covering attempted assassinations and mass shootings. Annoying ads are a small price to pay.
I “X” the ads when they interfere with viewing the content of a news site, or when they prove to be simply too distracting. Another conservative news site is now posting ads that in some cases actually block the reader’s view of news content, to the point its headlines are unreadable.
Let me know if they get that bad. This is a trial right now.
No, it is not that bad and I cannot remember blocking your site’s ads and will now leave them up.
The adblocker I use, I can tell it to not block certain specific sites…I have never done that, but I know it can be done.
I will google how to do it and unblock your site.
