DSA “Leaders” Are Mostly Freeloading, Nepo Baby Frauds

It should come as no surprise to those who follow the history of Socialism morphing into Communism that the head honchos of those movements rarely lived the lives of the proletariat, “working-class people, ” they claimed to represent.

Fast forward 100-plus years and see how little has changed.

Witness the witless Gustavo Gordillo, co-chair of the NYC-DSA.  He’s been cosplaying as a union member, man of the people, while living, rent-free, in a recently renovated, $1.5 million house in Bed-Stuyvesant, Brooklyn.  The residence, remarkably unlike anything else in the community, has been a gift from his very wealthy parents.

It’s interesting to note the structural changes, using non-union labor, included reducing the building from 2 separate apartments to one.

That’s quite a middle digit directed at the DSA’s rant for “more equitable, affordable housing”.  Local Community Board Commissioner Johnson said, “It’s going to feel like it’s a beach house in the Hamptons in the 1960s and 1970s.”

Continuing the unmasking of Gordillo, we learned the former Yale University liberal arts student was fired from his electricians’ union apprenticeship program in March after being a no-show for months. He never qualified to become a fully credentialed electrician.  Also, Gus was sued in a Brooklyn housing court after skipping out on three rent payments of $2,500 for a Crown Heights apartment he leased while the above-mentioned “crib” was being readied.

Joining Gordillo in his do-as-I-say hypocrisy, we have a couple of other DSA deadbeats.

Morris Katz, the lefty-loving campaign consultant for Mayor Zohran Mamdani and former Maine candidate Graham Platner, also reportedly stiffed his landlord of $14,000 as he left the Williamsburg pad unit stuffed with trash when he vacated.

Mamdani ally Tracy Rosenthal, who grew up in her Grammy-winning dad’s posh Manhattan place, actually brags of bankrupting her landlord with a years-long rent strike. That African immigrant lost the building to foreclosure, amid a sad saga that for a while had the city poised to take control.

NYC GOP Councilwoman Vickie Paladino may have said it best.  “The entitlement of these rich DSA kids is bottomless.”

“It’s really appalling that these brats are in charge of our city now, when they’re so quick to screw over working people and can’t even manage their own lives.”

Amen, Vickie!
