Hasan Piker, dubbed a matinee idol by Rolling Stone, is the most vociferous Democratic Party spokesperson. As such, he is now singling out American Jews and especially State Senator Jeremy Moss, a die-hard Democrat, with a warning against his support for Israel. Piker is moving on from just cursing out Israel.
Hasan Piker is gross as he spreads his hate with obscenities:
“Because people don’t f*** with Israel any longer,” Piker railed, “and if Jews in America keep putting this idea out there that they are singularly invested in Israel, eventually someone’s going to come around and take action, not against the state of Israel, mind you, but against American Jews.
“We’re teaching people the wrong lesson. I don’t know how people don’t recognize how dangerous this predicament is, how dangerous this is for Jews.”
“You’re running around basically tying your entire identity to a country that inevitably will be seen as Jewish ISIS and you’re saying, as Jews, this is all we care about. You’re making antisemitism worse.”
It’s unlikely he cares about Jews, and more likely this is a threat or an encouragement to the wrong people. He didn’t add anything like he hoped it wouldn’t happen. But that is only my opinion. Perhaps he really cares and is simply warning Jews.

Hasan’s Wishful Thinking
The American Jewish Committee agrees with my take. “By showing the image of a named elected official as he warned of violence, Piker put a target on the backs of Sen. Moss, Jewish candidates and officeholders, and American Jews alike. Blaming Jews for the antisemitism directed at them is itself antisemitism. Every public official who has shared his platform now has a choice: denounce this and walk away, or be complicit. There is no third option.”
