Another Biden federal judge, more important than the president, ordered the Trump administration to reinstall dozens of exhibits on DEI, civil rights, and climate change in national parks within 21 days. U.S. District Judge Angel Kelley blocked further ‘censorship.’ She stated that the removals violated multiple federal acts. The judge even went so far as to say they were an illegal attempt to “rewrite the nation’s history with a white-out pen.”
Actually, judges are assuming the power to make leftist ideology the only national history.
A lawsuit challenged Interior Secretary Doug Burgum’s implementation of an executive order the Republican president signed in March 2025 targeting what Trump called a “revisionist movement” that portrayed the U.S. as “inherently racist, sexist, oppressive, or otherwise irredeemably flawed.”
Leftists in various fields brought the suit, saying that removing the exhibits sanitizes history. The problem is it wasn’t in moderation. They were rewriting history, leaving out all we have to be proud of.
It was only Southern Democrats who had slaves. They should tell that story. They should also explain that slavery was worldwide, the U.S. fought a Civil War to end it, and then embedded freedom from slavery in the Constitution.

Kelley issued a preliminary injunction pausing enforcement of an administration directive mandating the removal of park exhibits deemed to “disparage Americans.” The president only has three weeks to do it.
It affects 59 signs that paint a negative picture of U.S. history.
The signs include plaques about slavery in Philadelphia, climate change exhibits in South Carolina, and Indigenous history displays in Maine. It’s a nod to the communist Howard Zinn version of U.S. history. The slavery exhibits made slavery the whole of our history. DEI violates the Constitution. And climate change is far from a settled science.
This anti-white DEI garbage was ordered removed:

Leftist advocacy groups applauded the move. However, the Interior Department criticized the decision, labeling Kelley a “liberal activist judge” and reviewing options for an appeal.
Trump’s order directed the Interior Department to make changes to parks, monuments, and memorials to address any “false revision of history.” The White House said that it had occurred in recent years.
The plaintiffs had argued that the Interior Department was removing signs and exhibits from parks in violation of congressional mandates governing the operation of more than 430 national park sites. They claimed the administration had adopted an unlawful policy lacking any reasoned explanation for why various signs and exhibits must be removed.
An Interior Department spokesperson previously said the policy required the country’s parks to “tell the full and accurate story of American history.”
It would make it a lot easier if Congress cared enough about leftists rewriting history as purely negative or reflecting leftist ideology. They could create a law abolishing it.
