President Trump said the deal with Iran will be signed today, but Iran said it will not be signed on Trump’s timeline. The timing is up in the air right now.
Israel-Hezbollah Fire
President Trump was very displeased with Israel’s strong reaction to a “small” Hezbollah attack. Israel said that Hezbollah launched six rockets and drone attacks against northern Israel. That doesn’t sound like a small thing, but it is true that no one was hurt, and allegedly there was no damage. Israel then attacked Beirut.
Some senior officials believe Israel is trying to keep the U.S. in the war. However, Israel said it’s not so, and they fear Hezbollah will get the idea they can keep bombing them.
President Trump wrote on TruthSocial:
This morning’s attack on Beirut should not have happened, particularly on a special day when we are so close to a Peace Deal with Iran. Israel has the right to defend itself against threats, but the attack it was responding to was very small and meaningless, nobody was hurt, injured, or killed, and should not disrupt this important process. We are very close to a Deal that will bring peace to the region, including to Lebanon, and all sides should stand down. There should be no more attacks by Israel anywhere in Lebanon, but there should also be no more attacks by any other party, including Hezbollah, against Israel. This could be the beginning of a long and beautiful peace — Let’s not blow it! Thank you for your attention to this matter. President DONALD J. TRUMP
The Supreme Leader does not want any more bombing and is choosing a diplomatic solution. All must obey.

The blockade will be lifted as the Strait opens.
Reporter: How quickly would the U.S. blockade on Iran end, and how soon could Iran resume oil exports?
Hegseth: Immediately, if Iran signs and follows through. But this is performance based. President Trump isn’t going to give anything away for free. As the Strait of Hormuz… pic.twitter.com/zrNsd3ZesJ

Yesterday, President Trump said that if the pending negotiations fail, he will have to pursue the “ultimate” response, which will hopefully never be used again, which most everyone fears is a nuclear solution.
He won’t do that.
Witkoff and Kushner will visit Russia again soon, following an agreement between Putin and Trump, according to Kremlin aide Ushakov. It sounds like Ukraine will be forced to look toward ending the war.
The media is already claiming the deal is no better than the 2015 JCPOA, which involved giving the IRGC untraceable cash and gold so they could continue their terrorism funding. It also allowed them to get a nuclear bomb in nine years. This deal sounds better so far.
