Dr. Anthony Fauci took the Fifth 111 times today and wouldn’t answer the most meaningless questions. That is a legal problem for him since a pardon covers people who could be incriminated and prosecuted. He can’t be prosecuted – federally. Therefore, under the law, he was possibly compelled to answer the Senate’s questions. However, he might be in the clear on that issue because he can be prosecuted by the state, and one state is now investigating.
As we have noted in the past, Dr. Fauci can be prosecuted at the state level.
Finally, a state is doing just that.
The Center Square reported that Florida launched an investigation into Dr. Fauci’s destructive policies.
After Wednesday morning’s congressional hearing with former National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases director Anthony Fauci, where he declined to answer any questions and instead pleaded the Fifth Amendment, Florida Attorney General James Uthmeier announced he is launching an investigation into Fauci.
“Fauci’s lack of candor to Congress is unbelievable,” Uthmeier wrote on social media. “My office is launching an investigation into Dr. Fauci. It’s past time we get the truth of what happened during COVID.”

On the last day of his presidential term, former President Joe Biden granted Fauci a full and unconditional pardon for any offenses he may have “committed or taken part in” related to his governmental roles from Jan. 1, 2014, through Jan. 19, 2025, the day the pardon was signed.
The pardon protects Fauci from being prosecuted for any federal crimes he may have committed during that time period, but it does not protect him from state prosecutors.
Senator Ashley Moody said on Fox News, “I had to litigate to open back up entire industries and win in court. Everything we did to keep Washington out of our lives in Florida, which made Florida the free state. That was really on trial today and he couldn’t answer a question because he took the 5th every time!”
Other state prosecutors are threatening investigations. The ball could start rolling now that there is smoking-gun evidence in his own handwriting.
Another Lie:
Fauci in 2022: “I am very happy to testify before any congressional oversight committee.
I have nothing to hide. I can explain and validate everything that I’ve done.
I’m going to do what I need to do, and that is cooperate fully, because we have nothing to hide at all.” pic.twitter.com/vRYKHnLkPr
