A nameless district judge in Westminster hid the identity of a Hamas leader’s bodyguard for 100 years. Mohammed Naim, 39, held important positions with Hamas and served as the bodyguard to Ismail Haniyeh when Hamas seized power by force.
In 2010, Egyptian police arrested him for smuggling gold into Gaza.
Somehow he was free to enter Britain in 2012 and worked as an IT consultant. He received both asylum and British citizenship in 2025.
The Story
German prosecutors wanted him extradited for planning a terror attack on Israeli diplomats. Naim collected five pistols and ammunition in Berlin from another suspect and moved them to Vienna, storing them as part of a larger cache. They were part of a plan for coordinated attacks on Israeli diplomats. They were to be used on October 7, 2024, on the second anniversary of the terror attack in Israel. The plot was disrupted.
Naim appeared at Westminster Magistrates Court on an extradition application, and a nameless district judge secretly granted him legal anonymity for 100 years. There was no open contest, and no principles of open justice demand.
The court granted refugee protection and a British passport to a high-level Hamas security officer with a recorded history of criminality, including gold and gun smuggling, who later used that status to move firearms for an attack on Jews in Europe, and who was wanted by the German government.
This has no coherent security justification. And to then cloak that man in a century of anonymity at the specialist extradition court compounds the original error. It is inexplicable. They’re insane.
No one knows the judge’s name. He is likely an enemy of the State.

He then used his position to plot a huge terror attack targeting Jews in Europe, which was foiled.
