I bought a Burger, a Big Mac, a Shake, and large fries for $19.99 yesterday. Look what you bought in 1971 for under a dollar. Obviously, salaries went up but not enough. It’s hard to catch up with inflation.
Wages have not caught up with inflation after the pandemic was exploited and people and businesses were locked down. We haven’t recovered yet. Salaries have increased this year which is a good sign.

Creating inflation which hits the middle class hardest is a typical communist ploy. To rule they want themselves as the elites, no middle class and everyone else as serfs. Historically the middle class is load with the type of independent thinkers who resist totalitarianism.
